Five-Year Blog-iversary

That’s right, it’s been five years. Five years ago France was just a distant future seven-month-long possibility and even graduation was still a year away. Teaching was just something to do on the side while having a foreign experience that I had skipped by not studying abroad. My clearest career goal was book publishing. Graduate school seemed like a terrible idea (of course, then, it would have been a PhD in English Lit, so, yeah, eugh). I didn’t even have foot arthritis yet.

I have to say I like the blog, and myself, more now. I would never have guessed that this is where I’d be at 25.
