Vancouver

Last post about Canadian Vacation 2014: Vancouver.

We only spent one day really visiting Vancouver. We started out walking through Stanley Park (where I didn’t take any good pictures) and then wandered through the West End before working our way down to Granville Island.

About an hour and a half passed between the first picture and this one.

So to avoid the hour and a half walk back, we took an Aquabus across the bay back downtown. It took three minutes.

Ours was slightly bigger than this one but similarly anchored.

We wandered through several downtown neighborhoods (though I have no photo evidence), had some beers, wandered into a lot of boutiques, and then made a stop slightly further down the highway to look back at Vancouver.

On our way back I offered to drive so J could enjoy the view of the mountains at twilight.
